Name: Klaus Mikaelson
Age: Born 10th Century, about 1,112 (1000+ to be safe), Looks Mid Twenties.
History: Klaus was born in Europe during the middle ages, from Esther and from an unnamed father (but was raised by Mikael). He was the middle child of six siblings: Henrik, Rebekah, Kol, Elijah and Fin. But they were not fully related, because his mother had an affair with an unnamed werewolf - causing him to be of different blood. After he snuck out one night with Henrik to watch the werewolves, his baby brother was killed - and he carried him back to camp. Because of this death, Mikael hated Klaus and Esther decided to use her magic to make them vampires - but there was a bit more to be done with Niklaus. He was a vampire, and a werewolf - and to avoid upsetting the balance of nature, his werewolf curse was sealed away - only to be broken through the 'sun and moon ritual.'
For the next 1000 years, he would spend all his time trying to break the curse, whilst running with his family from his father. He daggered all his siblings, and left Kol and Rebekah till the 1900's - then they too, were daggered. On a relentless chase of Katherine, and avoiding his father - he sought out the materials to break his curse. And in 2010, he broke his curse - allowing him to become the first hybrid, a god among supernatural beings. After hybridification, he began to use Elena's blood to create other hybrids, as he amassed an army of beasts, and even had Stefan help him recruit - after he forced him into ripper mode. Now Klaus just awaits the Salvatore's feeble attempts to find a weapon to kill him.
