VII. Dressing style: He doesn't have just one style, he can go all over the place depending on his mood. Usually when he isn't craving, he goes with somewhat light colors like red or green, or other times he goes with dress shirts or just his leather jacket with a muscle T underneath.

0II. Dislikes: Killing without remorse, people using his friends to get to him, people getting involved in business that doesn't concern them, his friends getting involved with things that could hurt them, werewolves.

Overall personality: James used to be a nice guy when he was human, helping out friends in need before they ditched him in Mystic falls and all moved away to further their own careers and lives, leaving him in the town to be by his lonesome. He spent most of his year after high school alone, before meeting Bonnie and her gang of friends.

While him and Bonnie grew close, his personality seemed to change a little bit, making him care more for her then usual. But after James had turned, that was why he needed to leave. So he wouldn't be able to hurt her, or any of her friends for that matter, he wouldn't be able to live with himself if he had done something to hurt her.

When he came back to mystic falls, his personality changed, again. He still cared for people, especially Bonnie. But he didn't know if she had moved on or not since he left, and because of him being a vampire, his emotions were heightened. He doesn't want anyone to hurt her, nor her friends.

0VI. Overall history: James was born in Mystic Falls General, his parents seemed happy to finally have a baby in the house. It had been lonely for them prior due to John working 5 days out of the week at the Sheriffs department while Mary spent most of her time at home or going shopping. There wasn't much for her to do there, seeing as how it is a smaller town then the other ones around. James seemed to just sprout up, according to his parents. The time just flew by, before they knew it he was already in pre-school, then Elementary, making good friends along the way whom inevitably seemed to move away, saying they couldn't take a small town anymore and needed to get on with their lives.

In High school, he made a few friends, it wasn't a large group. More-so a tight-knit gang of friends that always hung out after school at the Grill and talked about random things. But, when James was in his final year at High school, his father seemed to come down with an unknown illness, that was one of the hardest times of his life: Seeing his father lying in that bed, nothing could be done for him. Little did they know, his father was actually in Transition to become a vampire. (The father didn't even know) As the hours pressed on, he could find himself wanting more and more blood, he could hear it pumping throughout the veins in everybody that was around his bed. More hours passed by before he had died. Not knowing he was in transition kept him from drinking any blood from his family members that were there supporting him.

Soon after he met Bonnie and the gang of vamps and hybrids before being turned and leaving Mystic Falls for awhile to try and find himself and to control his blood lust. He attained his lapis lazuli ring from Bonnie before he left. He wandered for several months before turning back up in Mystic Falls as he heard the Originals are running amuck as they have all been un-daggered and arisen.
