Drinks Are a Girls Best Friend

Lily was tired and fed up so she walked to a club that was not to far out of town and ordered a LemonDrop. She sat at the bar in her black Michael Kors dress and boots. She scanned the room with a drink in her hand. She needed to dance with somebody or talk to someone. She felt her hunger slightly but she ignored it.

A day after arriving back in Mystic Falls, he felt he needed to go out for a drink - no, not a brunette or red head, more of a alcoholic drink. Whiskey, to be exact. Only one place seemed to serve it well enough for his tastes - which he was walking through the doors at that moment, his leather jacket skimming the door frame as he entered, almost instantly walking up to the bar and looked at the bartender. All James had to simply say was a double whiskey, and the bartender went to work.

A few moments later, he turned his attention to the rather beautiful girl sitting next to him. "Aren't you a little young to be drinking?" He asked, her smell was different from a human - was she a werewolf? No.

Lily set her glass down on the bar and looked over at the man who had talked. She looked at him and had a feeling he ans't human but wasn't positive. "Well what they don't know, wont hurt them. Will it?" she said with a smirk playing in her lips.

He smirked slight;y at her as the bartender fetched his drink, and his hand reached out to take the glass. Was the stunning girl beside him a Vampire, like he was? He decided to take a drink of his whiskey before turning his view back onto her. "that" He paused, taking a look around. "is certain. So, what, couldn't find your preference out on the streets?"

Lily raised her eyebrows slightly at his comment, streets? She gave him a little smile and said "Well i am pretty sure they don't sell LemonDrops on the street." she looked at him. Was he a vampire.

He sighed slightly at her comment. Did she honestly not get what he was saying? But she was beautiful, no denying that. Simply - delicious. He took a small swirl of his whiskey and felt the burn as it moved down his throat, before he set the glass back on the countertop. "So - what, do you always play this game with people? Don't get me wrong. I rather enjoy roleplaying, but you make it too easy" He told her, laughing a little.

"Oh please." she said with a smile that was actually genuine. "I am not completely ditzy, and roleplaying is very fun." she felt her hunger get to her again and pushed it down. She put her hand out and prepared to shake his "I'm Lily."

He laughed more at her reply. What was it about her that made her so sexy? James did not seem to have a clue. Was it her clothing, her looks; or her attitude? The thought was amiss with him as she turned to him and introduced herself. "James - James Cole." He replied back, grasping at her hand with his - which were bigger then hers, almost enveloping it. "Lily? That's a nice name"

Lily felt herself smiling more then she had in awhile. Ever since Fleur. "Why thank you. James is very nice as well." she got to the point here her hunger was going to drive her mad. "I'm sorry to be rude but I need to take care of something." she said and scouted for someone she could drink.

As James placed his empty glass on the counter after his last drink, he signaled for another; and the bartender obeyed and poured him another glass of whiskey. A smile seemed to play on his face as he slowly took another sip and glanced over to Lily. "Thanks - but your name is far better then mine" He noted, raising his arm slightly and grasping hers as she turned around. "Why don't you just have a drink, it takes the edge off"

Lily took a breathe and sat back down and in her chair and ordered another drink"Ok" she said and kept her eyes in check. She hated being thirsty but sometimes it was better to control it.

James appeared pleased, as could be told by the look on his face when Lily sat back down at the bar. "That's the spirit" He told her, noticing her wave to the bartender for another drink. "Tell you what. Later, how about we both go out for a drink. Your pick, of course"

Lily took a breathe and looked at him "Deal." she said with a smile and looked around again looking for future prospects.

A smirk grew on his face as he downed a half of a glass of whiskey, and waved for another; although he then compelled the bartender to leave the bottle: His pupil grew steadily, taking up the entirety of his eye before it slowly shrunk back to normal, and the bartender obeyed.

"So, what brings you to a town like this?" He asked her, moving his eyes to her direction and eyed her slowly from her feet to her head.

Lily smiled and watched as he compelled the bartender. "i like to move around alot." she said then looked back at him "And I heard that this is where the cool vampires come to hang." she said as a joke.

James was quite good at multitasking, he sipped on his whiskey bottle as Lily went on about herself. James thought that she was hot, and so decided to suffer through it a little - the whiskey helped, though. "y'know, there are sometimes when vampires need to not use the new lingo" He told her, smirking a little bit as he brought the bottle to his lips and took another gulp.

Lily gave him a playful glare. "Whatever." then she scanned the place one more time. She couldn't manage it anymore. It had been days since she fed. Yes that is not safe but she was really hunger now.
